![]() ![]() Thus, one of the long play’s compositions, Give It All, was included into soundtracks of two popular videogames at the same time: Need For Speed: Underground 2 and FlatOut 2. The album Siren Song Of The Counter Culture saw the light in 2004 and it took a prominent place in the band’s discography. Nevertheless, Rise Against remained faithful to what they did, so their future works did not disappoint the fans at all. Also that album became the last work, recorded at Fat Wreck Chords: the rockers were offered a contract with the major label Geffen and they accepted it. The Unraveling got fair reviews from the experts and in 2003 Rise Against pleased their fans with another work Revolutions Per Minute that proved to be as interesting as its predecessor. This studio attempt immediately attracted attention of lovers of melodic hardcore and punks, who really enjoyed the material presented by the rockers. The release of Rise Against’ debut album titled The Unraveling took place in 2001. In 2001 the rockers changed the name into familiar for the music lovers nowadays Rise Against, signed the contract with independent label Fat Wreck Chords and started to work on their very first long play. At that period the band did not perform, however the musicians managed to record the self-titled EP Transistor Revolt in 2000. Its first line-up included Tim McIlrath, Joe Principe Toni Tintari and Mr. Famous rock band Rise Against was formed in late nineties in Chicago, but initially the group was named Transistor Revolt.
